Fixed appliance for Correcting the Teeth with Children
In order to achieve the most acceptable function of all the bone, teeth and muscular structures of the face, it is important that your child visits the dentist on time. This involves performing the first orthodontic examination between the age of 7 and 9 of the child.
A nice, wide smile is of great importance for each child – both for his or her health and confidence. For that reason, it is extremely important to start taking care of the development of their teeth and to visit the dentist regularly.
MoreMany patients were wearing orthodontic appliances as adolescents, and some of them stopped the therapy or the treatment on their own initiative missing the time during their childhood. We honestly believe that it's never too late to get the smile you deserve.
MoreMultidisciplinary approach to the orthodontic treatment involves cooperation and consultations with specialists in dentistry, most often with your own dentist. In this way, through the team collaboration, we solve the patient's problem in the best possible way or keep it under the control during the orthodontic treatment.

FAQ
Orthodontists specialized in the correction of malocclusions or "bad bites" as well as the irregular teeth positions. Orthodontic therapy implies changes for the better, regardless of age. Biological process that affects teeth movement is the same both with children and adults. The health of teeth, gums and surrounding bones are the most important factors that determine the prospect of improving a smile.
The initial consultation involves a complete examination of the teeth and jaws and is followed by X rays, photographs, and impressions. This pre-treatment recording allows the orthodontist to make a proper assessment and create a treatment plan for solving your problem.
Setting up appliances is painless. Some patients require removable appliances that simply fit onto the teeth. For those patients who require fixed appliances, 2-3 visits will be required to set up the braces. Apart from your orthodontist they can be set up by one of our team orthodontist as well.
Visits to the orthodontist are usually 4-6 weeks in order for the appliance to be adjusted and checked. You should also continue to have regular check-ups with your general dental practitioner (every 3 months).
The duration of orthodontic therapy varies depending on the case and type of denture. The average treatment time is usually 14-18 months. Treatment is usually completed earlier with those patients who look after their appliance regularly and come to the control examinations regularly.
All the patients wear retention appliances/retainers at the end of the treatment to preserve the results obtained by active treatment.
Jaw or orthognathic surgery involves the collaboration of an orthodontist and a maxillofacial surgeon. In some cases, the jaw bones are positioned in a way that makes it difficult or impossible to obtain good results exclusively with orthodontic treatment - then jaw surgery is necessary
Orthodontics is equally recommended both for adults and children. Because the biological process of moving the teeth is the same with children and adults, you are never too old to do what is best for you. About 30% of our patients are adults and their number is increasing.
